After completing all connections, check them again to make sure they are correct. YAMAHA applies this labeling system to all its products. However, a properly installed outdoor antenna provides clearer reception than an indoor one. Connect each antenna correctly to the designated terminals. Firmly insert the connector into the FM ANT terminal. FM antenna is only a simple antenna. Cut the lead wire and remove it. The AM loop antenna should be placed away from this unit. AM antenna is connected to this unit. Press the tab and unlock the terminal hole. Attach the loop antenna to the antenna stand. AM ANT terminal and extend it outdoors from a window. Refer to pages 32 and 33 for details. LD digital signal input terminal. OPTICAL digital signal input terminals. A rear speaker system can be connected to these terminals. A center speaker can be connected to this terminal. Tighten the knob to secure the wire. Return the tab to secure the wire. If so, slide the switch to either position fully when this unit is in the standby mode. Select the right or left position according to the impedance of speakers in your system. When the adjustment is complete, press TEST. Adjust the volume to the desired output level. If desired, adjust BASS, TREBLE, BALANCE, etc. Use the digital sound field processor. LD player to the analog terminals. Dolby Digital, and then disc playing is restored. AUTO and ANALOG input modes are provided. Refer to pages 35 and 36 for details. Refer to the instructions for details of each component. TV VOLUME and TV INPUT function if you have set the code for your TV. These buttons skip to the next or previous CD.
